5 stars Breathtaking and sweeping saga in pioneer New Zealand

From the very beginning of "Isolation", I was caught up in the majestic scope of the wildness of New Zealand and the captivating characters of Meg and James Morley. The author's attention to detail and her ability to draw us into the sights, smells and sounds of this adventure is unparalleled.
If you enjoy historical fiction, a rich storyline, heart-stopping moments, and human emotion that makes you laugh and cry, you will love this book.

5 Stars -Rich and exciting history of a little known group of brave pioneers.

I love history and New Zealand is a country I know nothing about. My dad was in the Navy during WW2 and after visiting NZ he always talked about going back and raising sheep. A dream! The pioneers sure had it rough living and working so high up during those early years. I look forward to reading more from Sue. Excellent writer! She really brings things and people to life.

Sue Towler, in my opinion, belongs in the elite group of the best of the best story tellers in the business. Her character development is incredible, and her story lines are some of the best I have ever read, and conclusions leave her readers feeling full circle complete. Definitely a big thumbs up!
